Iconico – CRM & Operations Platform

A bespoke CRM and itinerary/operations platform for a luxury travel business, inherited after years of vendor development had left the client with a brittle codebase, static accounting screens, and no way to see how the business was actually performing.

Working with Iconico, I shipped operational fixes, deployment foundations, analytics, and finance workflows into a difficult inherited system — 50+ PRs merged.

Highlights:

• Architected and shipped an end-to-end KPI analytics platform, growing it across 25+ incremental releases and 40+ revenue, P&L, lead-lifecycle, product, and partner metrics
• Optimized KPI snapshot generation with bulk-write batching and field-projection loaders, reducing database round-trips by up to 50x and keeping dashboards responsive under heavy editing load
• Designed and built multi-currency finance workflows — client payments, commissions, invoice/proforma handling, supplier-payment tracking, and payment-time reconciliation — reducing reliance on external spreadsheets
• Improved reliability with CI/CD setup, Next.js/Docker runtime fixes, targeted Mongo indexes, snapshot backfills, and cron safety
