OnTrack Retail – Booking Engine & Ticketing Platform
White-label rail ticketing used by five UK train operators — I built core booking, payment, and refund flows on a platform processing £500k+ in daily sales.

OnTrack’s white-label platform provided a fully branded online experience for UK train operators, offering journey planning, ticket selection, and payment in a unified, mobile-first interface. I contributed extensively to the Booking Engine, which handled high-volume daily sales across multiple rail franchises.
OnTrack’s Booking Engine powered the full online ticketing journey for multiple UK train operators, serving millions of users per year. It offered seamless trip planning, fare discovery, purchase, and refund — across mobile, tablet, and desktop — all tailored to each operator’s brand. The platform regularly processed over £500K in daily ticket sales.
My work spanned core flows and system integrations, including support for all major ticket types (Advance, Anytime, Off-Peak, Flexi, and e‑tickets), smart card journeys, payment handling (credit, debit, PayPal, and tokenized methods), and a robust self-service refund system. The frontend was fully responsive and accessibility-first, meeting WCAG standards for screen reader and keyboard use.
